Gossip Kitchen was born from a shared vision—to create something bold, elevated, and entirely new for Salt Lake City. Bringing together two distinct culinary perspectives, the restaurant is the result of a collaboration between Chef Carmine, known for his award-winning Italian cuisine, and Chef Soy, a defining force in Utah’s modern Japanese dining scene.
At its core, Gossip Kitchen is about experience—where food, atmosphere, and energy come together seamlessly. Every detail, from the kitchen to the bar, is designed to create a space that feels both refined and alive, offering guests something beyond the expected.
MEET CHEF CARMINE
Born and raised in Battipaglia, Italy, Chef Carmine’s culinary journey began at the tender age of six, learning traditional Italian recipes from his beloved Nonna. His passion for cooking led him to the prestigious Instituto Professional Alberghiero di Stato Roberto Virtuoso and the 5-star Grand Hotel La Sonrisa in Napoli, Italy, where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the art of Italian cuisine.
